Kathie Talbot started off her career working as a vocalist for commercials, film, and television as well as collaborating with composers and composing works herself. The work she did in Los Angeles led her to enter the vast world of Film Trailers allowing her the opportunity to use her voice to create Vocals, music and Sound design for film Trailers Marketing. Originally from New York and Puerto Rico, Kathie's eclectic background has given her the chance to work on a wide variety of projects. She spent decades in Los Angeles honing her sonic skill set. Kathie currently resides in Mexico City.

Kathie's work has been used in award winning Trailer marketing campaigns. Netflix's "The Guilty" Film Trailer, winner for Best Thriller, Golden Reel Trailer Awards, 2022, it also won two Clio awards in 2021, including best sound design. Bronze and Silver were awards to The Goldfinch and The Lodge for 2019 Clio's; her sounds were a part of those campaigns.

Major influences that have inspired Kathie's passion for Music and Sound Design are the Kronos Quartet, Musique Concrete, Clint Mansell, Marco Beltrami, Hans Zimmer, Ludwig Goransson, Quincy Jones, Eskimo, Bjork, Johan Johannson, Trent Reznor-Atticus Ross, Stockhausen, Prokofiev, Miro, Mapplethorpe, Annie Liebowitz, Iris Apfel, Electronic, Neo Soul, Cinematic genres. Many of her colleagues and collaborators also inspire greatly.
